At the first NTUC SG50 Golden Jubilee Celebration event, Majulah Singapura, Celebrating 50 Years With U!, the tripartite partners recited the first ever Tripartite Pledge with pride as they reaffirmed their commitment to tripartism.
The Tripartite Pledge is also shared across the LM family, as well as the network of tripartite partners (Government and employers) to encourage them to recite the pledge at their National Day Observance Ceremonies organised throughout the month of August this year.
We hoped that the recital of the pledge will remind tripartite partners on the importance of strong tripartism.
We, the tripartite partners,
pledge ourselves in solidarity
to uphold and preserve industrial harmony
so as to protect the wellbeing and interests
of our workers and employers.
We resolve to advance tripartism
and be an active partner to create jobs
and develop workers of the future
so as to achieve prosperity and progress for all.
