Training the Trainers

Launched on 1 February 2018 by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), the Education (Training and Adult Education) Industry Transformation Map (ITM) will focus on ensuring that the training and adult education (TAE) sector is ready to support the operationalising of the ITMs.

The aim, said SSG is to train the trainers and educators who will impart the skills to workers and prepare them to take on the thousands of jobs each ITM generates.

Details

The key thrust is to ensure that the TAE industry is of high quality and responsive to the emerging skills needs of businesses and individuals.

The message from SSG to the nearly 20,000 TAE providers at the event was clear - transform and invest in building a strong and skilled workforce within the industry.

The second ITM in the education sector will focus on the early childhood sector and will be launched at a later date.
