About 300 foreign worker ambassadors who have been helping the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) extend its outreach to the foreign worker community were lauded at at an appreciation dinner on 1 July 2017.
There are approximately 1,400 foreign worker ambassadors.
The inaugural Foreign Worker Ambassadors Appreciation Dinner was attended by employers of foreign workers and dormitory operators.
Also at the event was NTUC Assistant Director-General and Chairman of the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) Yeo Guat Kwang.
At the event, Manpower Minister Lim Swee Say presented the Star Ambassador Awards to three outstanding Ambassadors for their dedication and exemplary efforts in providing assistance to fellow workers.
