NTUC’s Membership Department (Organising Resource Centre) brand new portal aims to be a one-stop resource platform to strengthen communication and support to unions as well as improve work flow. It will solve the challenges that unions face in their membership efforts, such as constraints in designing marketing collaterals.
The portal will serve as central repository where unions can have easy access to MED’s communication collaterals and presentation slides. It is also a place for unionists and MED staff to share knowledge, success stories and best practices in the area of membership.
The marketing collaterals will also be retrievable through the portal. Unions can use the predesigned templates or get in touch with their account managers for customised design services through the portal.
When it comes to year-end or sign-up gifts, unions can turn to the portal where there will be a marketplace for them to place their bulk purchase orders. They can also source for other items, such as discounted tickets to attractions, for their members.
Unionists who are interested to attend the U Membership Breakthrough Workshop can check the course details, schedules and seat availability through the portal and if they are in need of recruitment roadshow support, the portal will act as the first contact point in supplying manpower and instant card printing services.
