Local Internet wunderkind, Chua Jin Sen, better known as Dr Jiajia, has caused a stir online once again. Known for posting hilarious Singlish videos, this six-year-old recently posted a picture he took with a cleaner as part of NTUC’s ‘Tribute to Cleaners 2014’ online selfie contest. What moved the virtual community was his Facebook post about the picture.
“Hi Everyone, this is Uncle Anthony, he works at Marina Square Shopping Centre as cleaner for six months. He is [sic] 57-year-old, single. He does not have mobile [sic] or home phone. My mother said if this photo win [sic] a $100 voucher (Tribute to Cleaners Contest) for Uncle Anthony, we will bring it to him personally. Please like this picture to help Uncle Anthony to win the voucher.
Thank you very much & Good [sic] luck to Uncle Anthony,” he wrote with the help of his older brother and other family members.
A flood of comments soon followed with several giving their support to Uncle Anthony:

Many praised the Primary One student for his “noble intentions”, with one post that read, “Great boy with a heart of gold. Thanks for showing us that kind people still exist today.”
Dr Jiajia replied to the comments the next day saying, “This really surpass [sic] our expectation. We never expect [sic] our picture with cleaner Uncle Anthony will [sic] reach 1.7m people and garner 112k likes 18 hours after posting it. Thank you all so much for your kind support to help Uncle Anthony win a S$100 voucher for the Tributes To Cleaners Contest.”
