Sharing festive cheers with the community

Some 20 Chemical Industries Employees' Union (CIEU) members and volunteers got together to present about 250 goodie bags to residents of the Sree Narayana Home for the Aged Sick in late February this year.

The project was supported by the U Care CSR Co-Funding Scheme. The CIEU members and volunteers were at the home to present the bags to the residents and spread some cheer as part of the Lunar New Year celebrations by performing the festive song “A World of Happiness” for the occasion.

Living up to CIEU’s slogan `The Union That Cares’, the initiative was a part of the CIEU’s Do Good efforts by its Community Service (Welfare Programmes) Sub Committee and was whole-heartedly welcomed by the Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore).
