Scam Alert: Advisory On A Phishing Email Requesting For Information For Self-Employed Person Income Relief Scheme

We have been informed by members of the public that they have received a phishing email requesting for information in order to put in a claim for the Self-Employed Person Income Relief Scheme (SIRS). The email is not genuine and was not sent by us.

We have been informed by members of the public that they have received a phishing email requesting for information in order to put in a claim for the Self-Employed Person Income Relief Scheme (SIRS). The email is not genuine and was not sent by us.

If you have received this email, please do not open the email, click the link or download the attachments.

Members of public who receive this email should:

Be vigilant. NTUC will not request for your personal and confidential information through such emails.

In such situations, you should disregard the email:
Do not click on the emails and/or download the attachments.
Do not provide personal information like name, identification number, passport, bank account or credit card details.

We take such incidents seriously, as they undermine public trust in NTUC. Investigations are ongoing and a police report has been made. If you have information related to such incidents, please call the Police hotline at 1800 255 0000 or dial 999 for urgent Police assistance.
