Digital disruption and technological advancement are affecting traditional business models, creating new employment arrangements, displacing old jobs, and creating new jobs at an ever-increasing pace. Consequently, workers will need to be agile, adaptable and speedily acquire new skills for their changing roles or new jobs. Correspondingly, Labour Movement leaders will need to be well equipped and enabled to:

• Provide Protection services and solutions for workers
• Help workers understand and benefit from Privileges as a Labour Movement member
• Help workers grow in their value-add and Productivity for stronger and sustainable career development
• Guide and equip workers for career Progression and suitable work Placement

OTC Institute is thus expanding our scope of offerings to equip Labour Movement leaders to grow in effectiveness to serve and lead workers in these areas. Our Industrial Relations (IR) offerings will be enhanced with increased focus on productivity, progression and placement, and renamed as Industrial Relations and Employment Development. We will also be offering Industry and Jobs Transformation programmes to help increase awareness and catalyse operationalisation of the Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs).
