Ms Chan Peck Noi had trouble using her NTUC Plus! Visa card for redemption at a NTUC FairPrice store and had reservations about using it even though the card was tested and checked by NTUC Link Private Limited and OCBC and found to be in good condition.
She requested for a staff from NTUC Link to accompany her to an NTUC FairPrice outlet to ensure that her redemption would be hassle-free.
Even though it was not part of Terry Zhuang’s (right) job responsibility, the Customer Service Supervisor acceded to her request and arranged a time to meet her.
Ms Chan’s redemption went through successfully that day and she was very happy that Mr Zhuang was there to assist her. His presence helped to ease her anxiety and reservations, and with a new sense of assurance, Ms Chan continues to be an active Plus! member.
Marketing Manager Tania Sim (left) of NTUC Link Private Limited helped the wish of a couple come true when she came up with the idea of having the Wish Upon A Click, a Facebook contest to reach out to members.
The contest had participants submit their wishes and the shortlisted wish with the highest number of votes would get fulfilled by NTUC Link. Contest winner, Mr Jackson Tan, had wished for a new pair of hearing aids for his wife, Ms Kristy Liew who needed a special pair because she is severely hearing-impaired.
Although the amount for the hearing aids exceeded the budget for the contest, the management of NTUC Link willingly increased the budget upon hearing about Ms Liew’s situation.
The couple was overjoyed upon being presented with the new pair of hearing aids - a gift that brought as much joy to the receiver as to the giver.
