Razali Maulod, president of Keppel Employees Union, Comrade of Labour
Mr Razali Maulod is a versatile and conscientious key leader who executes his union work professionally and confidently.
Elected as president of Keppel Employees Union since September 2012, he has repaid the trust by union leaders over the years by ensuring workers’ grievances and welfare are attended to. One of the examples of his work was when he successfully arranged transport for union members to and from the office outside working hours and ensured cleanliness of the staff canteen.
He is an excellent grievances handler and his good industrial relations with the management is very much appreciated by many union members.
As chairman of the Workforce Safety Council formed by Keppel management and union, Mr Razali has played a vital role in exercising good initiative by successfully requesting the management to provide useful training and skills upgrading for his fellow workers.
At the NTUC level, Mr Razali serves as a member of the NTUC Marine Engineering Cluster, and the committees for NTUC Industrial Relations, Employment and Employability and International Relations. He is also the vice-president of the Industrial Metal Workers Federation, Singapore Council and Director of Keppel Credit Union Co-Operative Ltd.
