Paying Tribute to Mr S R Nathan at NTUC Centre

Together with NTUC President Mary Liew and NTUC Secretary-General Chan Chun Sing, 140 union leaders gathered to mark the memory of Mr S R Nathan on 25 August 2016 at NTUC Centre while penning their message of condolence in a special book.

The union leaders watched a special video of Mr S R Nathan. He was seconded to the Labour Research Unit in 1962 as assistant director and subsequently became the director from 1964 to 1966. The unit was absorbed by NTUC in 1965.

The union leaders also observed a minute of silence in respect of Mr S R Nathan.

The signing book is available to all union members who wish to pen their messages of condolences. It is placed on level 10 of the NTUC Centre.
