Building up a steady momentum of growth, NTUC’s U Associate programme welcomed four new partners into its network of professional guilds over the last two months.
Four separate Memoranda of Understanding were signed between 1 June 2016 and 22 July 2016. The new U Associates include The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Market Research Society of Singapore, Singapore Psychological Society and IT Service Management Forum, Singapore Chapter.
To date, the U Associate programme has 36 professional guilds spanning 22 sectors such as finance, IT, engineering, human resources and logistics.

As part of the new agreement, NTUC and the new U Associates will co-develop new programmes and networking opportunities that will help develop and enhance the careers of working professionals, managers and executives.
There are also plans in the pipeline to develop professional standards within these sectors so working professionals can enjoy better recognition.
