U Live @ Work held a roadshow on 1 October 2016 at Boon Lay MRT station to raise awareness on mature workers’ employment rights.
Held in conjunction with the International Day for Older Persons, the roadshow also aimed to encourage mature workers to stay healthy and embark on lifelong learning, and show appreciation for their contributions.
NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Heng Chee How, who champions mature workers in the Labour Movement, also paid a surprise visit to mature workers working at Jurong Point, located beside the MRT station.
