 NTUC Statement on Mr Othman Haron Eusofe

Mr Othman Haron Eusofe joined the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) in August 1980.  He held the position of Deputy Secretary-General, NTUC, from August 1993 to January 1997, when he left NTUC on his appointment as Minister of State at the Ministry of Labour, which was later renamed as the Ministry of Manpower.

2 In August 2004, Mr Othman Haron Eusofe was appointed as Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and he rejoined NTUC as Divisional Director, Corporate Services.

3 Mr Othman Haron Eusofe has relinquished the appointment of Minister of State, PMO, in June 05.  He will remain in NTUC as Divisional Director, Corporate Services, until his retirement on 31 December 2005.
