NTUC Foodfare Co-operative Limited is bringing an array of affordable servings with the official opening of its latest outlet in the heart of the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC).
The new outlet offers an online food ordering and collection system, a first of its kind within a local food court.
The online system will make it hassle-free for customers opting to dine in at their office to pick up their takeaways at their preferred time, and avoid the queues.
Apart from various affordable flavours, the new outlet will also serve up several other interesting features: a sports bar and lounge that provides a spot for workers to relax; electronic LED tickers that display breaking news and financial updates from Thomson Reuters; and a wall of television screens that carry news, sports and entertainment channels.
“We are mindful that not all who work in the city can afford the huge budget meals. We have worked with our tenant partners to ensure that each store provides entry level prices or super savers to allow our workers to stretch their dollar,” said NTUC Foodfare Chief Executive Officer Perry Ong.
Mr Ong also promised that the outlet will be “a place to start the day, a place to cater for all palates for lunch and dinner… and a place to unwind after work.”
