NTUC First Campus (NFC), a leader in early childhood care and education, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

A carnival themed ‘Celebrating Together’ to thank its 4,000 staff was held on 21 July 2017 at The Lawn in Marina Bay.

NFC started off in 1977. Today it has nearly 150 centres all over Singapore.

According to its latest Annual Report, NFC’s enrolment reached 16,000 children in 2016.

Long Term Goals

Addressing the staff at the event, NTUC Secretary-General (SG) Chan Chun Sing commended NFC for having done very well over the last 40 years.

“Looking forward to the next 10 to 20 years, we will see how NTUC First Campus can partner the other government agencies to continue to help uplift the standards of early childhood education in Singapore and to give Singaporeans and families peace of mind and assurance of quality education,” said SG Chan.

To achieve this, NFC Chief Executive Officer Chan Tee Seng said the cooperative will focus on its staff’s career development and encourage them to continuously upgrade their skills and capabilities.
