Fun is something everyone is entitled to, no matter the income or occupation, and NTUC Club has been fulfilling the social and recreational needs of union members since 1987, said NTUC Club Chief Executive Officer, Yeo Khee Leng, as part of the Club’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
“We are proud to say that in 2011, union members enjoyed close to $12 million of savings at our facilities and communities, and this helps us to make fun accessible to the workers, regardless of their backgrounds.”
NTUC Club recounted 25 years of its journey at the “We Are 25!” Anniversary Showcase, launched on 20 April 2012 by NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say, together with special guests.
Open from 21 April till 30 June 2012, the showcase at Downtown East is designed to evoke the memories of visitors so that they can reminisce the good times they have spent with friends and families at NTUC Club.
The interactive and nostalgic showcase highlights NTUC Club’s efforts in providing recreation that is easily accessible and affordable, and also outlines the development of NTUC Club from 1987 till today, with four clusters of exhibits showcasing the four fun aspects of NTUC Club: Relaxing Fun, Sporting Fun, Community Fun and Chill-Out Fun.
To thank members and the public for their support for the past 25 years, NTUC Club will also introduce a special ‘NTUC Club 25 FUN-nale Draw’ promotion that will run for five months, starting from 20 April 2012 till October 2012.
To take part, members and the public only need to spend a minimum of $15 at participating NTUC Club facilities.
