What you’re looking at is the photo of the NTUC marching contingent making a special appearance at the Labour Movement’s National Day Observance Ceremony on 8 August this year.
Together, they led the entire auditorium in the singing of our national anthem and reciting the pledge.
That was one of the highlights of the Labour Movement’s festivities to mark Singapore’s 54th birthday at the NTUC Centre. About 800 union leaders, NTUC staff and partners were there.
The red and white event this year was hosted by NTUC President Mary Liew and NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng.
