- Partnership between NDCA and Lalamove strengthens representation, skills training and grievance resolution for delivery partners ahead of the new 2025 Platform Workers Act -
- Lalamove to accord formal recognition to NDCA under the Platform Workers Act -

The National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA), an NTUC-affiliated association, and Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Lalamove to accord formal recognition to NDCA under the Platform Workers Act . Under this Act, NDCA will have the legal backing to advocate for its members through various channels, including collective bargaining, conciliation, and arbitration processes.

This MOU will benefit Lalamove’s driver partners by:
• Establishing formal procedures for driver partners to address work-related grievances or disputes;
• Providing platforms such as dialogue sessions for delivery partners who are NDCA members to share their concerns and feedback about work policies and conditions. NDCA will share these views with Lalamove's management to improve conditions; and
• Providing digital literacy training, such as scam prevention training in partnership with the Singapore Police Force, so that driver partners can ensure their own safety at work.

MOU Signing Ceremony
The signing ceremony, which took place at Lifelong Learning Institute was witnessed by NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Cham Hui Fong and Lalamove Singapore Managing Director Alex Lin. The signatories on the MOU were NDCA Executive Secretary Jean See and Lalamove Senior Manager, Driver Operations Javier Wong.

The event was attended by Lalamove’s driver partners, its management representatives, and leaders from NTUC and NDCA. NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Cham Hui Fong and Lalamove Singapore Managing Director Alex Lin also delivered speeches at the event.
