Many travel long distances, leaving loved ones and the place they call home, to seek a living in Singapore so their families can have a better life. Some come with more than suitcases, with debts already chalked up in order to be here to work. And a few get less than they bargained for or imagined. For these, there is the Migrant Workers' Centre.
