With about 7,000 union leaders representing the voice of 690,000 members, together with the combined force of the 12 NTUC Social Enterprises (SEs), NTUC offers union members the full strength of the Labour Movement under one membership.

Known as ‘Discover the Power of U’, the campaign features union leaders and union members who epitomise the special bond between the Labour Movement and its members.

In a special series making a debut at straitstimes.com on 14 May 2012, union members share how union leaders such as Brother Ma Wei Cheng, Amalgamated Union of Public Employees General Secretary, touched their lives and fought for their well-being and workplace rights when no one else did.

MED also looks set to create further value for union members through long-term strategic partnerships with Healthway Medical Group and Tiger Airways this May.

Together with 500 merchant touchpoints, ‘Power of U’ will help union members stretch their dollars further.

Major SE partners such as NTUC FairPrice and NTUC Unity Healthcare have supported the campaign by adding ‘Power of U’ in their advertisement sign-offs.
