Professionals in transition can count on a helping hand from experienced career mentors for both career and emotional support. Besides mentorship, PIVOT also offers a range of industry talks, networking opportunities and technical training.

The Beneficial Exchange
Strapped for time to learn something new? Put off by costs? Not sure what to pursue? NTUC’s new U Future Leaders Exchange (UFLX) programme comes packed with bite-sized workshops, dialogues and networking sessions to give you what suits you best, at your convenience. The best part? It’s available for a one-time subscription fee of just $30 per year for NTUC members, and $100 for the public. Based on feedback, the organisers have expanded the breadth of courses for the 2018 lineup to include lifestyle- and creative-themed engagements like the recent UFLX Bazaar held at the NTUC Centre. This is in addition to popular topics centred around career progression, entrepreneurship and trends in both the workplace and economy.

OTCi: The Address for Labour Education
Here’s another way the Labour Movement is reaching out to everyone out there to help them with their knowledge needs. Are you a new union leader or a human resource practitioner who wants basic knowledge of industrial relations, or learn more about the employment and industrial landscape in Singapore?
You can also be a member of the public or a union member who is interested in the Labour Movement and want to learn more about how it works, what makes tripartism tick and what is so important about labour-management relations. If you have checked any of the above, then the courses by the Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute (OTCi) is for you! Founded in 1990, the OTCi is a centre for labour education and training in Singapore. Programmes range from short courses to certificate and up to professional diploma courses.
