Another group will spend the day at the water theme park, Wild Wild Wet, for some fun in the sun.
5. Mr. Eddie Chew, Chairman of today’s event and Member of NTUC’s Central Committee said, “These activities are reflective of the labour movement’s efforts to be an inclusive movement for all ages. The “Care & Share” Dragonboat was formed in the spirit to extend our help to the needy, especially for the young and elderly. We are also grateful for the support from our unionists as volunteers, to help make today’s activities a success.”
6. Mr. Joseph Chua, Assistant Secretary-General of the Singapore Manual & Mercantile Workers’ Union said,” We have been involved for more than 10 years as we feel that this is a very meaningful activity to spend our time with the less fortunate.
