The National Trades Union Congress, our 60 affiliated unions and one association, 11 social enterprises and six related organisations – collectively known as the Labour Movement – have over the past 55 years served to Care for our working people, ensure Fair workplace practices for our working people and Grow with our working people by helping them to progress in their careers and be a part of a strong and inclusive Labour Movement.

 

Toward this vision, we’ve extended our membership beyond traditional ordinary branch members to include general branch membership, U Associate and in recent years, U PMEs, U SMEs, U Creative and other communities. This constant innovation in the genetic structure of our membership base is important for us so as to remain a robust and relevant institution that can value add to our working people, members and to Singapore’s continued development.
