More than 4,000 of our migrant friends were treated to a fun day at the NTUC May Day Migrant Worker Celebration on 9 June 2019.
NTUC and the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) jointly organised the event held at the MWC recreation Club @ Soon Lee to celebrate migrant workers in Singapore.
Throughout the afternoon, there were live performances and activities, as well as goodies and promotions offered by event sponsors and partners.
Minister of State for Manpower and National Development Zaqy Mohamad, Singapore National Employers Federation President Robert Yap, NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Heng Chee How, MWC Chairman and other tripartite representatives were guests at the event.
Together they penned well wishes for the migrant workers and gave out thank you cards crafted by Spectra Secondary School student.
