NTUC Club has refreshed its annual Family Recreation & Fun carnival to let union members receiving assistance from U Care bond with their families.

Sporting a brand new name, the Family Fun Fiesta (F3) will reach out to more than 40,000 union members and their families with activities spanning three weekends between now and National Day.

The first edition of F3 took place on 17 July 2016 at Downtown East with NTUC President Mary Liew joining in the activities. The second edition of the carnival took place on 24 July with the third scheduled for 7 August.

As part of the fun, each family also received a $150 recreational package that includes admission tickets to Wild Wild Wet water theme park as well as food, beverage and activity vouches for use at Downtown East, Orchid Bowl and eXplorerkid.

DOING MORE FOR WORKERS

In support of these outreach efforts, NTUC Club also sponsored $1.5 million to kick-start the Labour Movement’s efforts to raise $10.5 million to assist U Care beneficiaries.

“We are very grateful to NTUC Club for the F3 sponsorship which provides our members and their families with the opportunity to enjoy a day of fun and bonding without having to worry about the cost.

“This sponsorship gives us a good start towards our fundraising target of $10.5 million this year,” said NTUC Assistant Secretary-General and Director, Care and Share Department, Zainal Sapari.
