Mediacorp and the Singapore Union of Broadcasting Employees (SUBE) jointly organised the recent Family Portraits Project to celebrate families of all sizes and structures. Through a compilation of photos, the initiative showcased families who do not fit the norm and those who are struggling financially. In return, the families were treated to a photoshoot.
The initiative, which unveiled 10 portraits of families, was supported by the Tampines Grassroots Organisations and volunteers from SUBE, NTUC and Mediacorp. The family portraits also appeared in Mediacorp newspapers and publications in the recent months, highlighting heart-warming stories.

“I was heartened by how readily Mediacorp agreed to participate in this meaningful project. The volunteers also gave positive feedback that the experience was refreshing and impactful, and they could tap on their own skills to make a difference." -- SUBE Executive Secretary Desmond Choo (in red)
