Every Worker Matters - that includes every domestic employee who helps care for our loved ones and families.

To appreciate domestic workers for their tireless sacrifice and hard work, the Labour Movement organised the May Day Domestic Employees Celebrations on 16 June 2019 at Wild Wild Wet.

About 2,000 people were treated to the park’s water rides, carnival games, a mass workout and water telematches. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Manpower and Education Low Yen Ling was guest of honour.

To further appreciate domestic helpers, the Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) also invited various partners to provide freebies as well as organised fringe activities throughout the day. These included free health screenings, food and beverages, goodie bags as well as special rates for telecoms services.

We round up the day with a few photos.
