Brother Tham Yuet Kok – A Role Model Leader

As one of the pioneer leaders to bring taxi drivers together under the National Taxi Association (NTA), Brother Tham Yuet Kok is well looked up to within the Labour Movement.

He has served as Treasurer of the Comfort Taxi Operators’ Association branch since its inception in 1997 and as General Treasurer for NTA. His contributions to his fellow workers include actively distributing masks to drivers during the haze situation last year and giving inputs towards regulating the private hire vehicles.

On top of all this, Brother Yuet Kok also serves in the U Live Committee to help raise issues of his fellow taxi drivers, most of whom are aged above 55.
