Appreciating Cleaners

As part of the NTUC Organising Resource Centre’s (ORC) Union Growth Programme with the Building Construction and Timber Industries Employees’ Union (BATU), more than 50 employees from Horsburgh Integrated Services enjoyed an appreciation lunch at the Civil Service Club.

NTUC Membership worked with merchant partners GobblerShop, Resorts World Sentosa and Dunkin Donuts to prepare goodie bags for these cleaners who work in military camps.

Sharing their thoughts, Horsburgh’s management said: “We are grateful and thankful to BATU and NTUC for creating such a meaningful platform to enhance close relationship between employees and employer. Definitely a great bonding event!”

On the receiving end, employee Heng Choon Mong said: “A great event which allows me to have a get together with my co-workers. Will be even better if there were more activities.”
