670,000 strong and counting

As of end October 2011, the Labour Movement stands strong with 670,000 members, as announced by NTUC Membership Department Assistant Director of Sales & Operations Benjamin Ho at the U League Finals onboard the Cheng Ho cruise on 4 November 2011. This surpasses the LM2011 target set in 2007 to hit 650,000 members by the end of 2011.

The U League competition has contributed to this achievement,where more than 13,000 new members joined the Labour Movement from April to June 2011. U League participants were treated to an appreciation and feedback session during the U League Finals.
