Did you know that NTUC Union Members are automatically covered with NTUC GIFT Group Term Life Insurance? 

What is NTUC GIFT?

NTUC GIFT is exclusively available to NTUC Union Members under 65 years old. This group term life insurance policy provides coverage of up to $40,000 for death and total/partial and permanent disability (TPD). Union leaders are eligible for double the sum assured, and the spouses of Union Members under 65 years old are also covered for death and TPD.

Union Members aged 65 years and above will be eligible for the GIFT extension. They must meet a minimum membership tenure requirement and pay a token fee which will be waived until 30 April 2026. 

As this is a group insurance arrangement, no individual certificates will be issued. NTUC will maintain the Master Policy.

Who is eligible for NTUC GIFT?

Please ensure that you are eligible to apply for the NTUC GIFT

• You are an NTUC member who is 16 years old and above and below 65 years old
• You have at least 6 months of continuous paid-up union/association membership
• Member's spouse who is 16 years old and above and below 65 years old, subject to members meeting the eligibility criteria

Step 2 - Submit claim via NTUC Virtual Assistance
Submit your documents via ntuc.co/giftclaim
(NTUC GIFT claim form must be submitted within 90 days of member’s death or permanent and total disability.)
